We are currently looking for a Senior Surety Account Executive to join our team in our Surrey office. You will collaborate with Account Manager(s)/Bond Processor(s) regarding the client’s needs and recommend solutions with respect to bond facility term and rates. This position requires a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high paced environment. Wilson M. - Maintaining maximum retention of existing books by providing exceptional client service.
- Growing the book by attracting new business each year.
- Cross selling and upselling existing accounts to benefit the client.
- Organizing and attending internal renewal strategy meetings.
- Attending external client meetings as required.
- Responding promptly to client emails and telephone calls.
- Reviewing all client documents
- Writing correspondence and sending documents to clients
- Liaising with Sureties on facilities, specific bonds, and midterm changes.
- Providing bond costing for clients prior to tender closing.
- Following up on accounts receivable and collecting payments, as necessary.
- Following corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintaining continuing education credits for licensing.
- Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.
- Minimum 5 years Surety/Bonding experience
- Construction experience is an asset.
- Level 2 Insurance License is required.
- CAIB, CIP, or ASCB designation(s) or intention to complete is an asset.
