We are currently seeking a Technical / Customer Service Representative to join our Commercial Lines team in our Kamloops office. This role provides essential administrative and technical support to the Commercial Department. The successful candidate will help the Construction Team by assisting the Account Manager in servicing clients, managing documentation, and ensuring the smooth processing of insurance transactions. Our strength is our people and their expertise – We Care. We Help. What You Will Do:- You will assist the Account Manager in preparing renewal update requests, proposals, and submissions.
- You will follow upon past due accounts receivable.
- You will attach documentation and maintain accurate records in EPIC.
- You will work closely with the processing unit to ensure timely handling of requests.
- You will issue finance contracts and access online portals to obtain quotes.
- You will review and check policies and endorsements for accuracy.
- You will manage project and policy follow-ups, including outstanding policies, subjectivities, extensions, lapses, and endorsements.
- You will respond to client inquiries and account questions in the absence of the Account Manager or Producer.
- You will issue urgent certificate requests in and out of CSR24, and process urgent insurance documentation.
- You will assist the Producer with licensing, events and other administrative tasks
- You will provide reception relief as needed.
- You will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- You must have a positive team focused attitude.
- You must have strong customer service Skills
- Commercial experience required
- Level 1 License required, Level 2 License preferred (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM is beneficial)
- The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000, which is determined/impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience, license level and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level.
